REBUILD a home in Pakistan.
Restore dignity and give hope.

The floods that devastated Pakistan in 2022  not only washed away homes and destroyed livelihoods, they shattered the dreams and years of hard work of countless families and communties. Muslim Futures has been working tirelessly to provide relief to those affected. With winter offering no respite to the millions affected, families are still fighting to survive against hunger, extremes of weather and increasingly, water-borne diseases.

Lets not forget that thousands of these needy families still dont have a roof over their head.

As they struggle to survive on a daily basis, their needs are greater than ever. Let us, Insha'Allah, help ease their journey through Ramadan. With the blessings of Allah, subḥānahu wa ta'āla, re-build a home, restore dignity and give hope to a family in Pakistan, in these hardest of times.

It costs just £1,490 to re-build a new, permanent, solidly constructed 12ft x 15ft home, with kitchen, electricity, and a safe, clean water supply. Ease their journey through the Blessed month. The Prophet, sallallāhu 'alayhi wa’sallam said,

Whoever helps ease someone in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter.” (As narrated, Sahih Muslim)

Last year’s flooding devastated Pakistan. Over two million homes were damaged, millions displaced and nearly 1 million people sought refuge in temporary shelters and camps. Water-borne diseases have infected local water sources, resulting in a host of illnesses including malaria, dengue fever, diarrhoea and skin infections. Living in temporary shelters, people are perilously at risk of serious harm, life-long illness or even death.

Muslim Futures is working in some of the worst affected areas of south Punjab, just north of Rajanpur, providing permanent one-room shelter homes. Rebuilding these homes sign-posts a new beginning. A safe and secure home means that the poorest families can focus on rebuilding their livelihood, and their health. It opens the doors to empowerment, income generation, education and a brighter future.

Join Muslim Futures and work with us to deliver these homes for £1,490. Please donate today.

Muslim Futures is working in some of the worst affected areas of south Punjab, just north of Rajanpur, providing permanent one-room shelter homes. Rebuilding these homes means that these families can start to rebuild their lives, their livelihoods and their futures.

We are rebuilding small communities of 3, 5 or 7 homes, complete with a safe, clean water supply. To protect families from future similar calamities , we have built solid, permanently constructed brick-built homes in place of the mud homes that were destroyed.

A home costs just £1,490 and gives shelter to a family of at least five.

Built with 7,500 bricks, it has sturdy nine-foot walls, a pre-cast concrete beam and block roof, steel re-inforcement, and quality steel doors and windows. Each home is  built on a 18 inch cemented platform base, with a damp proof course, to protect against flooding and reduce the risk of damage in the future.

Give just £745 for a 50% share of a home
Each home has a large family room of 180sqft. sufficient for a family of upto 7 to sleep. A seperate kitchen provides space for a stove, washing, cooking and storage. An optional, seperate washroom can also be provided with an electric water pump and a tank, but a communal clean, safe water supply comes as standard.

Brick-built. Secure. 180sqft. Kitchen. Electric. Water.
All rooms have electric fittings including lighting and a switchboard. A ceiling fan is an optional extra. Built in shelves, 2 large windows, high ceilings and a furniture pack makes the house an airy and welcoming home again. And crucially, it meets the standards, conditions and cultural living requirements of the family on their own land, in their own community, on their own terms.

It will take decades to rebuild Pakistan and for its people to return to pre-flood conditions. Therefore, life-saving interventions from charities like Muslim Futures is vital. Your donation of a home will give many in Pakistan another opportunity to regain their dignity, live life again and look to the future.

These homes are more than just bricks and mortar. They are a safe haven and a place of comfort. With every home, donors will receive a name plaque and a dedicated feedback report of your donated home once it is completed.

Brick by brick, together we can ensure these people are not forgotten. £373 ensures a 25% share of a home.

Project drawings, plans and specification will be uplaoded here shortly.

Help rebuild Pakistan. One home at a time.
